A Women’s Retreat with special guest Gary Lynn Floyd

Picture yourself here: Sitting in a room with like-minded women, singing, moving, meditating, journaling – all in a safe, supportive container of bliss and love. Then add to that the smell of the pine trees, walking the beautiful trails, eating delicious organic food, and coming home blissed out. 

In every women’s retreat that I facilitate I start every morning with something I call “Morning Bliss” – a sacred way to bring in the day with positive affirmational chants, prayers, journaling, meditation, and gentle movement. This usually lasts about an hour, and everyone always tells me this time puts them in a state of bliss. After co-facilitating a retreat with my friend and frequent songwriting partner Gary Lynn Floyd at Ananda Retreat Center last spring, we decided (well, we were asked repeatedly) to create a whole weekend that would be an emersion of this bliss concept: More music, more meditation, more gentle movement, more connection – more Bliss!

So that’s what this weekend is – a woman’s retreat…with one dude. Together Gary and I will create a safe space filled with a beautiful blend of musical harmonies. And with everyone joining us in lifting our voices in song together, we will all be led into “bliss.”

In the beautiful mountains of the northern California Sierras, you will join a group of like-minded women as we come together in an environment that invites each of us to be nurtured, seen, and heard. We will use music, movement, small group work, prayer, meditation, and laughter. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here. Celebrate this gift of Spring and allow yourself to “Spring Into Your Bliss!” 

This retreat is for you if you want to:

When: Friday evening April 28 (7:30 pm) until Sunday April 30 (noon), 2023

Where: Ananda Village Nevada City, CA
(In the Sierra Foothills, 2 hours from Reno NV, or 90 min. from Sacramento)

ACCOMMODATIONS & COST INFORMATION:

Cost: Per Person Rates include retreat program, six meals (from dinner Friday through lunch Sunday), two nights housing, access to Ananda Expanding Light Retreat grounds and twice daily Satsang (optional).

$200 due at time of registration ($75 non-refundable).
$200 2nd non-refundable deposit due no later than March 15, 2023.
All payments and balances are due by April 1, 2023

Morning mediation (optional) 7:00 – 8:00
Breakfast 8:00 – 9:00 (silent breakfast)
Morning Program: 9:30-12:00
Lunch: 12:30-1:30
Afternoon: 1:00 – 4:00 – Optional journey to Hermitage to look at the Tulip Gardens (tickets must be purchased in advance) or free time.
Afternoon session: 4:00 – 5:30
Dinner: 6:30 – 7:30
Evening session: 7:45 – 9:15 (Spirit expressing)

Sunday

Morning meditation (optional) 7:00-8:00
Breakfast:  8:00-9:00 (not a silent breakfast)
